recording.

Haha yeah I'm totally spamming posts, but like what the hell. I think I need to make up for my blog's inactivity.

Well, a few weeks ago some of us had to go to the Shamrock Studio daily after school for the recording of national day songs along with other schools such as St. Andrew's, St Margaret's and Riverside. The Pasir Ris Crest Sec girl disappeared half way through and I haven't the faintest idea why. If I was a mean, uncaring boy, I would say "Not like I actually care," but since I try to be nice most of the time, I'll say, "I wonder where she went". Although honestly, I don't.

I'm not trying to be facetious or anything similar but this is simply what I think.

Well, the fact that I forgot the names of the Riverside people is an annoying presence to my conscience and I feel bad everytime I think about how they actually remembered mine. It could be because they can see my badge which displays my name. Who knows.

I managed, with little to no difficulty, to remember the names of the St. Margaret's and St. Andrew's people. One reason is, I actually talk to them. Ethan and Raymond are from SA and Abbie, Chip, Karen and Tia are from SM. There is no special significance to the order, I just decided to put them in alphabetical order because everyone knows alphabetical orders are all the rage. =D

Anyway, we recorded national songs, like I mentioned, such as Chan Mali Chan, Semoga Bahagia, Stand Up For Singapore, the COMMUNITY SONG, the Tamil song (I don't know how to spell the title) and the Chinese song (I just hate the song.) Recording can be fun though tiring at times.

Well, it was a really great experience and a few of us ended it with dinner and a nice night at East Coast Park where I poked Karen periodically. Mehehe.

MONEYYYYY

I was digging through my documents and I found a little document on MONEY and the lack of power it has in actuality. I must have found it from somewhere and saved it so as to ABSORB IT'S TEACHING or something. But yeah.

What Money Can and Cannot Buy
A bed, but not sleep.
Books, but not brains.
Food, but not appetite.
Finery, but not beauty.
A house, but not a home.
Medicine, but not health.
Luxuries, but not culture.
Amusements, but not happiness.
Companions, but not friends.
Flattery, but not respect

-Unknown (to me, at least)

Aww, do you now want to stab yourself for thinking with such a materialistic point of view? No? Neither did I.

I can't remember the HTML coding for embedded background music, so... :(
